Speaker Ernie Diaz Regional President, Metro Florida TD Bank Ernie Diaz TD Bank Ernie Diaz is Regional President for TD Bank in Florida. He is responsible for providing strategic direction and sales leadership to TD Bank's Florida retail, small business, commercial and specialty banking operations and lending services throughout a network of more than 150 stores. Diaz's banking career spans more than 28 years. Most recently, he served as Market President for TD Bank in South Florida. His experience includes three years at TD Bank's predecessor, The South Financial Group, where he was most recently President of the Florida franchise, Mercantile Bank. His previous experience also includes serving as Middle Market Executive for South Florida at Regions Bank, commercial real estate team lead at Regions Bank and positions at Terrabank, a community bank in Miami and the former Southeast Bank. A long time South Florida resident, Diaz serves on The Beacon Council Executive Board, The Orange Bowl Committee, Florida International University School of Business Dean's Council and Latin Builder's Association Executive Board, and serves as a Corporate Director of Florida Christian School and FIU's Director of Pino Global Entrepreneurship. Diaz earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Florida International University and a Master's degree in accounting from Nova Southeastern University. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Florida. Diaz is married to wife Ana, and has two boys, Ernie and Gabriel.

Speaker Valerie Smith Director and Head of Corporate Sustainability Citi Valerie Smith Citi
Val Smith is Vice President of Corporate Sustainability for Citigroup. She has been with Citigroup since 2004 and is responsible for developing sustainability initiatives and strategies in partnership with the businesses; tracking environmental issues and providing advice; engaging with SRI and NGO stakeholders; leading development of Citi's human rights strategy; and helping to develop the reporting strategy for Citi's sustainability performance. Val earned her MBA with a concentration in Sustainable Enterprise from UNC-Chapel Hill, and her BA in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia. Val has also worked for several environmental organizations, including the Houston Advanced Research Center, National Audubon Society, and the Brainerd Foundation. She spent two years with the Peace Corps in Honduras as an Environmental Specialist. Val lives in Brooklyn with her husband and their two sons.

Speaker Helen Sahi Senior Director, Sustainability Avery Dennison Helen Sahi Avery Dennison Helen Sahi is the Director of Sustainability for Avery Dennison Corporate and RBIS. Within her role Helen has a number of responsibilities. She is the chair of the Corporate Sustainability Committee to identify and prioritize sustainability challenges and opportunities and report ndings to the CEO as well as to champion our sustainability partnership with the Rainforest Alliance. In addition to building effective partnerships with external organizations and NGOs to support and advance sustainability efforts, she serves as primary contact for RBIS to the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, including co-chairing the Adoption Working Group. Prior to joining Avery Dennison in April 2011, Helen served as senior vice president with Bank of America, providing state-of-the-art environmental and sustainability leadership to the institution as it expanded globally.
