The Archive British Steam is a collection of rare original cine footage of working steam locomotives on British railways in the 1950’s and 1960’s.
Volume Four looks at the wide variety of locomotives that could be found in and around Birmingham towards the end of the steam era and features the former Great Central Railway: Johnson Midland 2F’s in action; Gresley Pacifics on the E.C.M.L. near Grantham; the Harbourne branch, steam at Bletchley plus industrial steam in the early 60’s and many more.
