I don't know whether you have already seen this. If you have, sorry to bother you again!

There is an exciting amount of turmoil in our modern society ... all sorts of new and better ways of doing things. I argue that the key metrics we need better to manage decision making is not evolving as fast as necessary (nor in the manner needed!). This relatively short essay summarizes some of this:

Exciting times

Dear Peter,

Exciting times, indeed! A great essay. Your thinking is needed and extremely timely.

I just returned from Dubai where there are major changes taking place in the culture, and the economy. The leaders there would understand where you are coming from. The Emiratis also believe we are not moving fast enough with the things that matter.

Dubai hosts the World Expo 2020 and your thoughts would fit right into their plans, I see it.

As you know, I founded a CEO Leadership Forum in DC back in 2007, which I put on hiatus to work in the Middle East. Now by popular demand we are re-launching & see a presence in NYC as a key to taking on leadership issues of the day. It would be a pleasure to know more on your thoughts on leadership, 7-D Capitalism and to have you as part of this initiative. Any support you need in your efforts, counts me in.

Metrics, we need Metrics! You are right on point! I have always used assessments in my advisory work and I see a place for what you are proposing here. Also, the M&A Sector surely needs Metrics. I worked in M&A for a while -- Culture & Commuications issues kills 80% of all deals, yet no one does anything to address culture & communications. I see a role for your thinking in M&A as well.

Since Egypt, I have been looking for the right team to partner with. After also spending time in Dubai, I know first hand that we can help these countries best from our own home base and bring good conversation on change to light through key events. This is also something I would like to talk with you about.

Richard Saul Wurman, the founder of Ted, has become a friend, so he has been guiding me on the best why to serve these leaders and the changing economy of our times.

Meeting you has been just serendipity! I want to know more about your thinking, as your thinking is what's needed.

Exciting times we live in, for sure.

You can reach me via email as you have or call me: 713-464-4474, Slype ID: terry.moraska, email: teresam@warriorcommunications.com

Can you tell I'm excited about what you are proposing here? :)

Let me know how best we can proceed, as I am in your corner for sure. Working with you on this all would be truly exciting.

In the meantime, keep warm & have a great NYC kind of weekend. I love New York!

Cheerio, Teresa

RE: The Environment Will Benefit from Your New Work As Well. Teresa Moraska January 10, 2015 5:18 PM

Dear Peter,

A follow on to my earlier email:

I tried to reach you via phone earlier, as I wanted you to know that I am really excited about your thoughts on Metrics. We can speak another time.

Should mention that while I was in Dubai, I hosted an International Environmental Conference for the Royal Family which had Global attendees. The theme was Eco Cities in the World. Because of my prominent presence at the conference, I am not connected worldwide with many of the key leaders in the Green & Environmental Space.. That is a sector that will be open to your ideas.

So much more to discuss, yet we will always take it one step at a time & at your pace & timing.

Cheerio,

Terry

PS: I also represented the EU here in the US out of Washington, DC on the business side of things & currently still have a relationship in Brussels with the American European Community Association (AECA) out of Brussels where many US companies and all the big EU co.s are members. The AECA would welcome your new ways of thinking.

Yesterday, I got caught up in the 'Je Suis Charlie' frenzy in Paris and did not get to call you as I had planned.

Collaborating with you in some way appeals to me. You have a set of strengths that I don't have, and it is possible that I have some that you don't. Whether or not the skills I have are the ones you really need to make a success of possible business initiative / cooperation, I don't know. Maybe they are. Maybe they are just a part of what you really need.

Lets talk ... and see what might be a next step. When would be a good time?

Peter
