Major projects included: - Responsible for all Electro-Mechanical Work for Poly Propylene Unit (PPU) at the Shell Refinery for ABB Australia - PPU Plant at Shell Refinery, Parramatta, NSW - Relocation of major equipment for Caltex Refinery in Kurnell, NSW - Major new piping work at Point Piper Power Station, Point Piper, NSW - Structural Steel Work for various mining companies including BHP Project Engineer/Manager Saudi Swiss Electro Mechanic Company March 1981 – August 1987 (6 years 6 months)Saudi Arabia Took on major responsibility for the installation and commissioning of Electro-Mechanical equipment for a major water project in Riyadh, Al-Jawf & Taif. Defining and developing delivery plans, project reporting, building strategic partnerships with third party tendering companies and tendering decision makers. This major project included: - Makkah –Taif Water Transmission System (MTTS) (US$600M) a project to transfer Desalination Water to Makkah & Taif at a distance of 200Klm using sophisticated Technology. - Domatul Jandal, Al-Jawf Project (US$115M) involving installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of submersible pumps, Pumping Station for 18 submersible pumps and three Pumping Stations. Managed 25 professional and technical staff. - Wasia Project, Riyadh (US$90M) encompassing all aspects of Electro-Mechanical erection, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of 62 wells at an average depth of 300M.
