Peter Burgess

Huge presents a new speaker series called Data for Good, a regular series bringing together analytic professionals working in a variety of industries to discuss the power of data, and share ideas on how to use that data for social good.

To kick off the series, join Huge and Michael Slaby as he talks about how the analytic framework of the 2012 Obama presidential campaign drastically changed organizational processes, and paved the way for success. From programs and engagement, to data collection and the outcome itself, he will use the campaign as a case study to expound on how other for-purpose organizations can use data for good.

About Michael Slaby

Passionate and committed to helping humanity save the world, Michael Slaby is amongst the world’s leaders in digital and social media strategy, technology, and how together they can elevate mission-driven organizations. Currently, he is a Fellow at Shorenstein Center at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government as well as an advisor to multiple for-purpose orgs, governments, and some of the world’s biggest companies. In March 2011, he rejoined the Obama Team as Chief Integration and Innovation Officer where he oversaw the CTO, CIO, CAO, and ensured effective implementation and integration of technology across the entire campaign. Previously he was the Digital Global Practice Chair at Edelman and Chief Technology Strategist for TomorrowVentures – Eric Schmidt’s hybrid venture capital fund – where he worked with companies from Fortune 100 to angel-round startups on their technology, digital media, and organizational strategy.
