Ideas ... Shared Value
is this just another form of CSR?

Tea with Mark Kramer on shared value at the EconomistMagazine

COMMENTARY
Mark Kramer and Michael Porter have done the world a favor by promoting 'shared value' but it is only a rather small step to what is really needed. They are clearly putting their focus on the big companies that operate in most of the for-profit sector ... but they are missing the importance of non-business organizations including the public sector and not-for-profits that also engage in economic activity.

Their work is a step forward ... but it does not seem to address the core need for a system of metrics that will work to put value adding for society on a par with profit for investors.
