Scientific Modeling
SMOKE

This system is a model to simulate environmental air pollution ... a UNC initiative in collaboration with EPA

COMMENTARY
This is interesting ... but a quick review suggests that its use is limited to scientists without any methodology to translate the scientific findings into something that reflects the social and economic impacts. In a smarter world, there would be a module that helps to express the findings of the model in a form that shows changes in valueadd for society when model variables change.

Collaboration between the scientists and experts in TrueValueMetrics needs to take place as soon as possible.
