What lessons have been learned over the past thirty years? How has the EBRD multilateral approach to private-sector development and policy dialogue proved to be successful? What are the keys to success in the coming years? > During the event, Masood Ahmed, President of the Center for Global Development (CGD) will convene with Odile Renaud-Basso, first female President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), to discuss the Bank’s new five year strategy, the road ahead for the COVID-19 recovery and its agenda on greening the economy, promoting equality of opportunity and advancing the digital transformation. > If you have questions for our panelists, please submit them to events@cgdev.org, tweet @CGDev #CGDTalks, or submit your comments via YouTube. > Register > This event will be streamed live. I am disappointed at the lack of effective quantification of progress and the reality that this area of global socio-enviro-economic progress has been very weak for a very long time. In my view with better metrics we can do a lot better! > I am an old accountant who worked on international humanitarian assistance and development for more than 30 years.
