Environmental justice is long overdue, friends.
In our nation, the biggest determining factor of whether you live near toxic pollution, drink contaminated water, or breathe dirty air is the color of your skin and your economic status.
This is the moment to right that wrong.
Will you join me, Rep. Deb Haaland, and environmental justice leaders tonight at 8 PM ET for an Environmental Justice Town Hall to discuss solutions that address environmental racism compounding in communities across the country?
This is a fight that requires urgent action. Congresswoman Deb Haaland and I introduced the Environmental Justice Legacy Pollution Cleanup Act, sensible policies that will cleanup the legacy of pollution in frontline communities and ensure safe drinking water across the country.
It’s a big step forward in continuing the fight for true equality and addressing environmental injustices, but this fight will require work from all of us. That’s why our conversation tonight is so important.
Will you join us tonight? RSVP here to let me know you’ll be there:

I hope to see you tonight -- and every day -- as we work together to tackle and erase environmental injustices that plague our communities and endanger our livelihoods.
I look forward to seeing you soon,
Cory Booker
U.S. Senator from New Jersey

TPB QUESTION
Every day there is talk of stock market prices, GDP growth and corporate profits, but deathly silence about indicators of social and environmental performance which are really much important. If we did the metrics right and allocated the cost of social and environmental damage almost all corporates would be bankrupt. When are we going to get serious about better metrics?
