The film looks at how the evolution of “Shanzhai” – or copycat manufacturing – has transformed traditional models of business, distribution and innovation, and asks what the rest of the world can learn from this so-called “Silicon Valley of hardware'.

I'm non-Palestinian Muslim but I really am hoping that both sides will find peace eventually and this region will be the next technology valley or something. Hard times will create great people, be strong and keep moving forward!

I think that Israel not having any oil is a blessing in disguise since it meant that the country had to diversify its economy instead of relying on oil like Saudi Arabia. The UAE is also forward thinking in that it is also changing the driving force of its economy from oil to tourism.

In my visit to Israel I was SO SURPRISED to see how many arabs there are there - in work place, in the beach, in resteraunts... Its just unbelieve how different the reality from what the media show us. Israel lookes a great place for arabs, and everyone...

I have said it in Shenzhen documentary and say it again: unless you come up with something as revolutionary as the transistor, you'll never come close to Silicon Valley, come on, a start up that deliver messages?
The reason American technology is dominating the world now resides in their pragmatism thinking and selfishness, innovator never ask for government or organization support, or worse quote a politician.

The Shenzhen documentary was more attractive. I believe most of the time innovations
occurs in small group of people/companies, Shenzhen is a place more likely to allow these
things happen. Somehow you can feel the city is in chaos,it evolves all the time. Behind that,
the sense of motivation, energy, diversity, uncertainty are absolutely amazing.
