WIRED’s feature-length documentary looks beyond Tel Aviv’s vibrant, liberal tech epicenter to the wider Holy Land region – the Palestinian territories, where a parallel Startup Nation story is emerging in East Jerusalem, Nazareth, Ramallah and other parts of the West Bank, as well as in the Israeli cybersecurity hub of Be’er Sheva. And we will learn how the fertile innovation ecosystem of Silicon Wadi has evolved as a result of its unique political, geographical and cultural situation and explore the future challenges – and solutions – these nations are facing. Hard times will create great people, be strong and keep moving forward! 164 Iain Reid Iain Reid 1 day ago 'Only City on the world where you have all the Religions in one City'. Is this joker for real? 1 glitch glitch 1 year ago I think that Israel not having any oil is a blessing in disguise since it meant that the country had to diversify its economy instead of relying on oil like Saudi Arabia. The UAE is also forward thinking in that it is also changing the driving force of its economy from oil to tourism. 157 Kuzivakwashe Muvezwa 3 years ago I love these! Loved Shenzhen, love this one! Can you also cover India, Kenya, Cape town (South Africa) and Brazil! 6 Abdi Balboa 3 years ago I never been this hopeful for the Jews and Arabs, I pray that technology and start ups broker more believable peace for both sides. 147 Jongmin-Paul KIM 2 years ago (edited) 38:43 'we believe innovation is in the details'. Then I remember from the Shenzhen video that cigar smoking guy said: 'there is one thing that China is missing, and that is details'. With this logic, China =/ innovation 56 DANL 11 months ago In my visit to Israel I was SO SURPRISED to see how many arabs there are there - in work place, in the beach, in resteraunts... Its just unbelieve how different the reality from what the media show us. Israel lookes a great place for arabs, and everyone... 33 youssef bourehim 3 years ago I have said it in Shenzhen documentary and say it again: unless you come up with something as revolutionary as the transistor, you'll never come close to Silicon Valley, come on, a start up that deliver messages? The reason American technology is dominating the world now resides in their pragmatism thinking and selfishness, innovator never ask for government or organization support, or worse quote a politician. 15 Gabriel Castro 3 years ago Great documental Wired. Love this series of videos based in business places like Shenzen or Israel in general. Keep it going, it's awesome. We may be able to find a place to get our libertarian paradise some day. 169 Josh Wang 2 years ago The Shenzhen documentary was more attractive. I believe most of the time innovations occurs in small group of people/companies, Shenzhen is a place more likely to allow these things happen. Somehow you can feel the city is in chaos,it evolves all the time. Behind that, the sense of motivation, energy, diversity, uncertainty are absolutely amazing. 16 Markus Steppe 2 years ago impressive, brilliant, hopefully, sometime, peace will come...and there is no limit in the skye!!! 18 144Donn 3 years ago At 1:18 'Take the holy-land again' hmmm 2 Kissinger 2 years ago can you please add subtitle for non-native speakers. 8 Alexina York 1 month ago shrtlink.ca/analsex749webcamxxx මම ඔබේ රැකියාව ගැන වැඩි යමක් සිතුවෙමි 21 Peter Y 2 years ago 1:09:43 Shenzhen 13 vipin kumar 4 months ago Who's here after watching HIMMESH video 14 next channel next 2 years ago 47:00 entrepreneurs 2 FrnnkEducation 2 years ago Speaking of computer terminology This makes me think of how viruses become more sophisticated due to their squeeze on a host 4 Marjorie 3 years ago Hey!! awesome content, greatproduction but the documentaries are as international as your audience, I understand that your target is the UK? but it will be an amazing improvement to have at least english subtitles in the videos. Thanks :) 8
