Burgess COMMENTARY Peter Burgess | ||
How NatWest Group turned energy management into a climate commitment
John Bamford, Director, Head of Advisory, EcoAct UK; Lesley Holloway, Environmental Manager, NatWest Group
We are pleased to be joined by NatWest Group (formerly the Royal Bank of Scotland) who will provide insight into their energy management journey and how they have progressed from a desire to improve systems and reduce costs, to setting ambitious energy and climate targets whilst achieving savings into the £millions.
The session will cover the bank’s collaboration with EcoAct to develop an operating model that has driven large energy reductions and improved processes and reporting; the obstacles overcome along the way; and how this has provided NatWest Group with the foundation for a robust industry-leading climate strategy.
