Guest Speaker event and happy Hour Monday Nov 18th (TONIGHT!) The Churchill, 45 E 28th St, New York 7pm onwards Join us at The Churchill for our regular monthly happy hour with two exciting guest speakers. Deborah Hrbek (Kings 1985) is a New York entertainment lawyer who has handled WikiLeaks’ media law matters since 2015. Margaret Kunstler is a civil rights lawyer and co-editor of In Defense of Julian Assange, to be released by OR Books in November 2019. They will address issues relating to Julian Assange’s upcoming extradition hearing in the UK, the US indictment of Assange, and the impact of the case on freedom of the press. No fee to attend, but please RSVP so we can plan numbers. Cash bar for individual food and drinks.

Registration required; tickets $20. Speakers will include Geralyn Breig, CEO and Founder of anytownusa.com, and Feargal O'Sullivan, CEO of USAM Group.

Thanksgiving Dinner Thursday Nov 28th GMT Tavern NYC, 142 Bleecker St, New York 6pm (dinner) or 7.30pm for just drinks If you are staying local for Thanksgiving, please join us for a holiday dinner jointly organized by CantabNYC and Gates Cambridge Alumni Association. $45 + tax prix-fix (individual drinks ordered separately); please bring cash. Tickets $20; registration required. This will be followed by an after-party at the COCK & BULL pub open to all; we'll keep going till the last alum standing.
