It’s clear Trump is hiding something, Peter.
At every turn, this president has outright refused to release his tax returns.
First, he claimed he was under audit from the IRS (which doesn’t prevent him from releasing his taxes, by the way).
Then, despite an IRS memo stating that tax returns must be given to Congress unless the president asserts executive privilege, Trump and Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin have yet to comply.
Now, Trump finds himself at the end of not just one, but multiple court fights with members of Congress who are doing whatever they can to follow the money and get the truth about this president’s shady finances.
As the only president in modern history to refuse to release his tax returns....clearly there is something Trump doesn’t want the American people to know.
Enough of his lame excuses. The Democratic House majority must do whatever it takes to hold this corrupt president accountable -- including filing a new lawsuit to obtain Trump’s taxes. Now’s our chance to see just how corrupt Trump’s financial history is:

Since the day Trump stepped into office, he has ignored tradition, evaded transparency, and threatened our democratic institutions. He has profited off the backs of everyday people and scammed families into funding massive tax breaks for the ultra-rich.
Does Trump own any foreign bank accounts? Does he pay all of his taxes? Has he lied about his businesses losing money? Do his policies directly benefit him and his various businesses? We deserve answers.
Trump is peddling every excuse in the book to avoid doing what is right and releasing his tax returns to Congress and the American people, but now we have a chance to uncover the truth:
