Connecting the Dots: Insane Trade and Climate Chaos

Burgess COMMENTARY
In the prevailing socio-enviro-economic system, there is only one reporting requirement of any consequence ... it is information about profit performance of a company getting reported to its stockholders. Companies are constrained from blatant lying. Everything else that gets done is behind a curtain with communication mainly driven by PR and advertising with the dominant goal to sell more product and generate more profit. The system is complex and the gaming of the system incredibly deep and nefarious. I argue it is a time for a completely new framing of the management metrics that the public may use to understand day to day economic impact, social impact and environmental impact. Better metrics are vital!
