Pepsi and Nestlé are still in business with scandal mired palm oil company Indofood. It’s been caught destroying orangutans’ rainforest home, using child labour and paying its workers poverty wages.

But with your help we have a plan to stop it.

The world’s leading palm oil certification body, the RSPO, has the power to kick Indofood to the curb. So next Wednesday -- ahead of one of its most important meetings of the year -- we’re turning up the heat.

With your donation we’ll buy out online ads and push a hard-hitting video exposing the devastation that Indofood is causing -- to force the RSPO to strike Indofood off once and for all. But we just can’t do it without your help.

The rainforests that orangutans, pygmy elephants, and thousands of rare birds call home are being wiped out at an alarming rate. Please can you donate $1 to save them?

Together, SumOfUs members like you are causing waves at the RSPO. Over 220,000 people have signed the petition calling for Indofood to be suspended and thousands more of you tweeted against Pepsi and Nestlé’s business partner.

We’ve received intel that all of our activity is really bothering RSPO decision makers -- and that we could be close to winning! But we need to keep up the pressure so they see that we won’t back down.

Because soon it’ll be too late. At current rates of deforestation, in 10 years time there may not be any orangutans left. These magnificent great apes are one of the planets more precious and intelligent creatures. Losing them for cheap palm oil would be a catastrophe.

With your donation, we can lift the curtain on the cosy palm oil industry -- and force the RSPO to suspend Indofood at its next complaints panel meeting at the end of September.

If the RSPO doesn’t make an example of industry laggard Indofood, other palm oil companies will see that they can get away with destroying orangutan habitat.

It’s up to SumOfUs members like you to make the RSPO take action -- as Indofood’s business partners Pepsi and Nestlé are more interested in skirting around their palm oil promises, while leaving in loopholes the size of Indonesia, than sourcing truly sustainable palm oil.

Public pressure against dirty palm oil has worked in the past and it can work again. Last year, over 200,000 SumOfUs members signed a petition telling Nestlé to drop its Guatamalan palm oil supplier REPSA, after it was found guilty of ecocide causing massive fish and wildlife die-offs -- and we won!
