Learn more here: www.cloudinstitute.org/introtoefs Also happening this month, The Cloud Institute will be represented at Camp Snowball in Portland, OR -- July 14th through July 18th. Co-hosted by Peter Senge, author of The Fifth Discipline: The Art and Practice of the Learning Organization - and a team of students, educators, community leaders and business partners, this event will bring us all together to revisit what student success really means. A growing number of school systems have found that by integrating best practices in instructional strategy with the tools and techniques of systems thinking, organizational learning, and education for sustainability, they can accelerate students’ ability to live, learn, and thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven world. Learn more here: www.campsnowball.org Education for Sustainability (EfS) is defined as a transformative learning process that equips students, teachers, and school systems with the new knowledge and ways of thinking we need to achieve economic prosperity and responsible citizenship while restoring the health of the living systems upon which our lives depend. Our mission is to ensure the viability of sustainable communities by leveraging changes in K-12 school systems to prepare young people for the shift toward a sustainable future. All the best, Jaimie and The Cloud Institute Team www.cloudinstitute.org |
