Protection of vulnerable children: includes technical assistance to harmonize the laws pertaining to children with international standards and creating a protective environment for all children through capacity building of relevant institutions. Data and statistics on children: support has been offered to upgrade and update social statistics to increase the knowledge on the situation of children in Ghana. This should enable the government to develop informed policies and investments to better protect children and support them achieve their full potential. Training has been initiated in 8 ministries and government departments/institutions in the use of “DevInfo”, a computer software to store, manage, present and share statistical data.
