Founder Trooprotect.org August 2010 – Present (3 years 6 months)denver, colorado I created this 501(c)3 non-profit to defend the military, firefighters, police, and the other 'troops' who live to protect us. Most not-for-profit companies focus on delivering aid to specific troops AFTER they have been injured or killed in action to help those involved deal with the aftermath. The way we are different is our focus on developing defensive measures against common sources of injuries or fatalities to PREVENT and reduce future cases and to further technologies that can be used to save many life and limb. Our current focus is on developing and furthering technologies designed to protect firefighters everywhere as we have a real war in the USA today: widespread wildfires and forest fires each and every year. Each year many lives and homes are lost due to ill-equipped firefighters and support personnel to not only fight the fire but to reliably shield these troops from injury and extreme temperatures.
