Charlie Rose is an expert at diffusing , diluting and distracting. This program should have been hosted by an intelligent, impartial host. Sadly, as long as PBS is corporately funded, you will never see it. After all, even our own government is corporately controlled.

The problem is that because there are so many wage slaves that are only enabled to be wage slaves they tend to squash other people, and themselves. A lot of people just accept their lives because feel they cannot do any better and want to have some little enjoyment. The investment in politics does not seem like something that is going to pay off for them. They do not really grasp the idea of democracy or what their rights should be.

Watch “Occupying Chairlifts” on youtube, a simple rule tweak on inheritance ends up changing the direction and purpose of modern human life! Here’s a fair way to transition forward, something specific we can demand, protest for, and adopt ourselves! Spread it around! If this isnt the best answer, at least we’re thinking about what might be. What if we were really just this close to having it work right?

I like when journalists question guests, but Harvey was right that mccarthyism won because it helped create the taboo both Wolff and Harvey were talking about. Rose is looking at win/lose in black and white.

I used to think Charlie Rose was a good interviewer. Lately, he just seems like an old hack who can't deal with a 'real' new idea.

I agree. What we need to get back is our connection with the earth, the universe. We've become these isolated objects looking to only benefit ourselves in a system that pushes the idea of greed. You really can't cheat the universe, nature, in the end the destruction we cause will come back to haunt us.

The world is complex, again so? Some things are quite simple. The disguise it's what is complex because it gets people to forget they are just wage slaves that need to stop doing what the tiny minority of controllers tell them to do and start joining together for change for a better system for humans and all life.

Proof of what? Yes, many people are rotten. So? You don't try? There's no real argument to your comment. The world isn't all stellar intellectuals, but there are also many kinds of intelligence. I really don't see a point to your posts. They seem like some strange attempt to discredit Occupy, it can be used to discredit anything to the point we should just sit in a dirt pile. Ridiculous.

So you want the world to continue working 'inside the box' it currently resides? Wow, a recipe for disaster as far as I am concerned. I don't even understand what your comment means - that we shouldn't look to people unless they are in a certain class of intellectuals? Who decides which group leads? who do you shut out? That's not democracy by the way, or at least horizontal democracy. Hows representative democracy working for you?
