In 2013, if it doesn't work on a Smart Phone, and reside in the Cloud, it might as well not exist.
Accounting is a powerful management tool, and used in every successful company, but mainly for the benefit of C-level executives and investors.
TrueValueMetrics (TVM) is accounting with a value dimension that can become an equally powerful management tool to account for and report on the state, progress and performance of both organization AND society.
TVM will displace money profit accounting that has its focus on the performance of an organization with a system of value accounting that keeps score about what economic activity does for people, place (community) and planet (natural resources and environment).
Value may be difficult to quantify ... but without quantification of value, there cannot be the meaningful metrics that are needed for a smart, sustainable society.
If we change the way we keep score, we will change the way the game is played.
