If you know Chris Macrae, I see that as a very good thing. I have had the good fortune to share some interesting connections with Chris over a number of years.

Chris has a big focus on getting the world to 'connect' ... especially the youth, the next generation.

I am not quite so much in that space. I did some of my professional training in accountancy and still think that accounting is the core of good management practice ... but I want to see metrics about state, progress and performance that go way beyond money profit, stock prices and GDP growth to something that incorporates improvement in quality of life for people, a takes care of environment, natural resources, wildlife and all sorts of things that make life worth living.

Please for give me for taking so long to respond to you Peter - I'm afraid 'life' happened and, on top of finishing my book, a house move (and all that surrounds those two major projects) I lost control of this darn 'in box'.

That said, I'm slowly coming back online and into the fray, and wanted to reach out and let you know how marvellous (and important!) I think your perspective is on the quality of life - all life!
