I am delighted to see the video part of this ... back in 1962 I worked as an audit clerk for Coopers and Lybrand in London and on the audit of EMI Records, whose artists included among others, The Beatles. The music of that era was distributed on vinyl records ... 33 rpm long play records, and 45 rpm single play records. These replaced the earlier 78 rpm records. The machinery for this was muscular ... great to see the video. Good memories!

As I remember, this audit was one of the first ever audits of a commercial computer. EMI had built its own compueter which was used to keep inventory for the records being produced and sold. This was a challenge since nothing like a commercial computer had ever been used before. More ancient memories.
