He is the chairman and CTO of ChoozOn, a platform for personalized deal discovery that helps consumers navigate the chaos of deals. Previously, he served as Yahoo!’s Chief Data Officer and EVP, building ad targeting systems that processed more that 25Tb of data per day. Fayyad held leadership roles at Microsoft, founding the data mining server products, and NASA-JPL, leading the analysis of Big Data. He was the CEO/co-founder of Audience Science. Jeremy's passion is applying algorithms to data. At FastMail he used algorithms to automate nearly every part of the business . Optimal Decisions was a business entirely built to commercialise a new algorithm he designed for the optimal pricing of insurance. Jeremy competes regularly in data mining competitions, which he uses to test himself and stay on the leading edge of machine learning and predictive modelling technology.
