A comment I have made in response to the student activism in the University of California at the following web location http://www.mercurynews.com/occupy/ci_19425348?source=pkg

The top people in education are as culpable as the top people in government, banking and military/industry complex for the sad state of the US and global economy. They have succeeded in building a system that rewards educators while costing students and their parents more than they can reasonably afford and delivering training that has far less value than it should. If I was a student I would be mad as hell.
