Peter Burgess Your comment is awaiting moderation. November 11, 2011 at 11:38 pm It is 50 odd years since I finished my academic education which did teach me how to learn and do basic analysis. In this time data technology has become millions of times more powerful, but the society I live in is about a million times more f**d up. Why on earth do we not use our capabilities to do things like accountability and identifying corruption and getting markets working so that they deliver resources where they are most needed not merely to where they will make the most profit. Why is there no way to identify specifically what Goldman Sachs has done that has been good for society, not merely good for their profit! Reply
