subject A follow up on social media
Friends ...
We are updating and consolidating our website and general social media strategy. We have integrated our website: http://www.thefamilyfishfarmsnetwork.com You can reach all of our social media resources from there. The blog: http://familyfishfarms.blogspot.com You can also connect to our Facebook, Linkedin, and Twitter accounts from the website.
Here's what's happenin' We are gaining credibility in the sustainable development field. Our Linkedin Group: Commercial Aquaponics now has almost 40 members and we just started a few weeks ago. We have gathered top people with in depth experience in growing both Fish and vegetables and in Aquaponics as well. A consensus is building that our strategy of distributive food production is both practical and desireable given the global conditions we face. A dependable food source in an age of uncertainty.
I am confident that a sustainable partner exists and that it is my job to find them. Social media is one strategy for global networking. The momentum is certainly building. I spent the day today at Freedom Plaza talking to the leadership of The 'Stop The Machine' movement, otherwise known as, 'Occupy Washinton DC.' They are in process of building the 'pillars' of a new vision for America. Egalitarian, Diverse, Green, Inclusive, and Economically Viable ... this parrallels the triple bottom line. Food policy is an essential pillar in their plan.
I'm playing down there tonight at 7:30 along with the rest of the Rythm Workers ... It should be fun (but cold)
Later ... Jerry
