Honoring my father's legacy

Ambassador Caroline Kennedy, JFK Library Foundation Unsubscribe
February 7, 2020, 8:15 AM to me

Friend, I have something to share with you.

My father, President Kennedy, was inspired by leaders throughout history who demonstrated a quality he believed to be indispensable in public life: Courage.

Throughout his life, my father strove to emulate the example of the public officials he wrote about in Profiles in Courage - leaders who set aside their own personal and political interests to make difficult decisions for the greater good. He deeply admired those who led with courage and acted according to conscience.

Each year, I am honored to celebrate my father’s legacy through the Profile and Courage Award. If you haven’t already done so, please take a moment to nominate a brave leader who has acted with political courage or demonstrated it throughout their career.

Submit a Nomination Now

Your nomination plays an important role in our tradition of honoring the men and women who demonstrate courage in politics and public service. I hope you will take a moment to honor President Kennedy’s legacy and submit a nomination for this year’s Profile in Courage Award.

Thank you,

Ambassador Caroline Kennedy

TPB Nomination for 2020

Queen Elizabeth II has successfully navigated enormous changes in the world as Queen of England since King George VI died in 1952 when Her Majesty was only 25 years of age. Her steadiness in adversity have been impressive, her willingness to confront difficult issues with dignity and respect, and the idea that at the age of 93 she has been the British Monarch for 68 years is quite remarkable. Long Live the Queen!
